With extensive experience delivering hundreds of bespoke financial modelling solutions, I am delighted to offer tailored models designed to meet your unique requirements.

All models are personally developed by me, a former Corporate Finance Director, drawing on 18 years of expertise in financial modelling. Each solution is built following industry best practices, ensuring efficiency, clarity, and accuracy, ultimately saving you time and money.

Below are examples of common types of financial models I offer, but don't let these examples limit your thinking. If it can be calculated, it can be modelled. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your specific needs or request a quote.

Operational Cashflow

Key for treasury management, cashflow analysis, budgeting and variance analysis, an operational model is a core pillar of day-to-day operations and helping to identifying potential issues early.

A quality model can assist in fulfilling your obligations related to various issues such as gender pay gap, duty to report prompt payment practices, and facilitating a change in accounting policy.

Deal Modelling

A strong financial model is a significant value driver during a sale process. It allows the seller to showcase the business plan and gives the buyer the ability to test and minimise perceived risks.

A well-designed bidding model can ensure precise pricing and facilitate a highly competitive bidding process, regardless of whether it follows a top-down or bottom-up approach.

Special Purpose Models

Fully bespoke modelling solutions. e.g. furlough scheme payments during the pandemic, optimising profit via constraint analysis, or evaluating claims for capital allowances.

Working With You

Financial modelling requires collaboration and iteration to achieve success - it's not a case of taking the brief and locking oneself in a room and returning with a 'finished' product.

I will work with you to make sure that the requirement is well defined, and the solution is agreed before embarking on the build phase. Regular check ins will help to ensure that the project stays on track and within budget.

Once the model is completed you will be provided with training and handover sessions to ensure a smooth adoption process.

Successful financial modelling is an iterative and a collaborative process

01

Specification

Defined via a process of workshop meetings and may include some 'proof of concept' or strawman workings to ensure that the requirement is well understood, and the proposed solution is approved in terms of the scope of work, costs and timings.

02

Development

The model will be developed in accordance with the specification, with interim versions shared for discussion and feedback during the process - to keep you in the loop regarding progress. This approach allows for feedback and adjustments to the model during development in case you require amendments to the specification and to make sure that it's meeting your expectations.

03

Acceptance Testing

A 'first finished draft' of the model will be shared for population and testing by the team who will own it going forwards. Any feedback provided at this stage will be rolled into an updated version, which will also be subject to analytical review procedures as appropriate.

04

Handover and Sign Off

Once acceptance testing is complete a final handover meeting will allow for a run through of the model and its features and cover off any remaining questions. At this point an acceptance letter will be signed and the final bill raised.

05

Ongoing Support

The day-to-day responsibility for ongoing use and maintenance rests with you once the model has been delivered and signed-off  but I will be delighted to discuss any additional support if required.
